LINKS TO THE CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK


At the camp school we are looking to assist teachers to give their camp program a more specific focus of what outcomes they seek by including camp activities in their teaching program. We are looking to promote values, OLO 12, Health and Phys Ed outcomes as the major foci.

The Kimberley District foci are OLO1, OLO 12 and Pedagogy, which incorporate cooperative learning structures. The Camp School learning environment really fosters the development of these areas.

We have also included examples of assessment in the form of self assessment/peer evaluation for students to monitor their progress or assess their own standards of values, interpersonal skills, social skills, active citizenship etc.
